Congratulations to all the students who performed at our end of term 2 gig. Sam Reynolds Music students, family & friends packed out the Northern Star Hotel on Beaumont St, Hamilton on Saturday the 23rd of June. There was a great atmosphere & very supportive crowd as for many of the younger students, it was their first experience playing in front of a live audience. Everyone put on a great show & deserves a rockin’ high 5 all round!
Special mention goes to Braydon (age 11), & Justin Tindall (age 8) & Tom (age 8) & Clare Sharpe (age 10) who did an awesome performance of 7 Nation Army by the White Stripes, complete with epic rock ending! Also well done to Scott Helmers (age 8), who after less than one term of lessons got up to play Sunshine Of Your Love with his guitar teacher Ross. Many thanks to teachers Ross & Isaac for accompanying students, helping prepare the students for performance & calming pre show nerves. Also thanks to new piano teacher Elizabeth (& her band) for putting on a great performance.
